50th Anniversary

 Daniel’s DKI is a full-service disaster restoration and construction company built on nearly five decades of experience, integrity, and craftsmanship. Founded by Daniel W. Eads, our company’s roots trace back to 1967, when Dan began working as a teenager in his grandfather’s business, Beverly Hills Window and House Cleaning. Those early years laid the foundation for a career defined by hard work, customer service, and pride in doing the job right.

After serving in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War era, Dan officially established the business in the early 1970s in Manhattan Beach, California. What began as a window and house cleaning company steadily evolved as the industry changed—expanding into carpet cleaning in the early 1980s and ultimately growing into water mitigation and full-scale disaster restoration.

Following Dan’s relocation to the Palm Springs area, Daniel’s Restoration became a recognized leader throughout the Coachella Valley and Riverside County. Dan was a true pioneer in the early days of the restoration industry, helping shape the standards and practices that define the profession today.

In 2008, the company rebranded as Daniel’s DKI after joining Disaster Kleen-up International (DKI), the largest restoration network in the nation. This partnership elevated our capabilities to a new level, providing national resources, advanced training, and the ability to respond to losses of any size while maintaining the personalized service of a locally owned business.

In 2019, the company was purchased by Dan’s son, Daniel M. Eads, alongside his spouse and business partner, Griselda Eads. Together, they continue the same business practices, values, and commitment to excellence that have defined Daniel’s DKI for generations.

As the company approaches its 50-year milestone, Daniel’s DKI remains dedicated to serving homeowners and businesses with the same level of care, professionalism, and customer service that Dan Eads strived to provide throughout his entire career.
